There are 2 branches of La Mei Zhi Restaurant in Penang located at Jalan Nagore and Crystal Point. The Crystal Point branch offers a very reasonable set lunch steamboat for 2 pricing from RM20.80+. Set lunch is available daily from 11am to 5pm.

Upon entering the restaurant is the open seating.


There are 3 privates room available for the customers.


We were served this braised peanuts RM2 as appetizer.


Chinese Tea RM1. As drinks is not included in the set lunch.

We ordered Lamb Set Lunch Set RM20.80 with Spicy soup base. The lamb set lunch is as below:

Lively place, bright lights, but some housefly spotted. The place is indoor with aircond plus there's BBQ and steamboat, do expect to get yourself smelling like that after the meal.

RM 20.80+ (10% tax). Choices of food limited, because it is pork free. Fish are rarely served, it will be on the kaiten belt. No crabs too.

OVERALL
Choice of food is limited. Basic choice of steamboat are offered, but not to the extend of many choices. A lively place for gathering I would say.
