Miraku is a restaurant that respect their customers' feedback, for example the chopsticks in Miraku are replaced now. During our last visit, we were still using the wooden chopstick which is claimed not hygenic because it is bleached.

We kick off our dinner with this Appetizer.

As we are loyal fans of Miraku Salad, we ordered it as soon as we saw it in the menu.

Miraku Salad RM 18.00 (small)

This salad tasted good; yet at an affordable price. Miraku Salad's vegetables are crunchy and blended well with the slices of salmon sashimi, crab meat, octopus, lettuce, cucumber, tomato and tomato dressing. The tomato dressing of the salad is made of tomato puree and mayonnaise grind together.

Next up is the 2 orders from the Unagi Promotion menu.

Unagi Kabayaki RM 14.90

This is the grilled eel with sweet sauce. Unagi served are fresh. How do we define it's freshness? It's fat and bouncy. You will know the difference if you compare it to the one sold at the malls.

Unatamadon RM 19.90

Unatama don is short for unagi don (don means bowl) and tamago (egg). This bowl of rice has many slices of unagi and is filling. The portion served is good for one pax.

Next, we ordered the famous Japanese Soba. It is the simplest meal, yet hardest to prepare.

Cha Soba RM 20.00

Mix all the ingredients together in the cold dipping soba sauce and dip the noodles in for the taste of the soba sauce. Do not keep the noodles too long as it is to be eaten when served cold.

And the dinner set we ordered.

The technique of grilling the beef slice to medium well is to turn the beef slice every 4 to 5 seconds until you see the top layer is cooked.

We ended the dinner with sips of cocktails and mocktails.
